Delete Temporary Windows Files

You need to set Windows Explorer to display hidden files and folders. Open Windows Explorer, from the menu, select Tools-> Folder Options, select the View Tab and click the Show Hidden Files and Folders radial button.

To Delete Temporary Windows Files:
Open Windows Explorer, navigate directories to Documents and Settings.  For each user navigate directories to Local Settings -> Temp.  On the menu bar, click on Edit -> Select All -> File -> Delete.  You may not be able to delete all the files in this directory.  If you come to one that is being used by the system, skip and delete the rest.

Ex. Documents and Settings -> Default User -> Local Settings -> Temp
      Documents and Settings -> User 1 -> Local Settings -> Temp
      Documents and Settings -> User 2 -> Local Settings -> Temp
etc.

Navigate directories to Windows (or WINNT) -> Temp.  On the menu bar, click on Edit -> Select All -> File -> Delete.
