Virus Scan

Virus Scan:
It is best to have a Virus Protection Software package loaded on your machine with a current subscription to update virus definitions.  You should update your virus definitions and scan weekly. Some of the more popular Virus Protection Software packages are:

• Symantec AntiVirus
• McAfee VirusScan
• Trend Micro Anti-Spyware
• Panda ActiveScan Pro

Make sure you have updated your virus definitions.  Close all programs and windows before running a virus scan.

Online Virus Scans:
If you don't have a Virus Protection Software package on your machine you should do an online virus scan.  Make sure you are connected to the Internet.  Visit one of the following sites and follow the instructions to run a virus scan.

• RAV AntiVirus Online
• Computer Associates Antivirus Scanner
• Online Malware Scan (Utilizes multiple major Antivirus Scans to analyze individual files. Norman AV "sandbox" component provides detailed analysis)
